I have one dog, a rat terrier. Oreo is 10 years young and is a member of our family. I adopted Oreo from a high-kill shelter in Louisiana over 6 years ago. He is very loving and attentive. He truly just loves being around us (we feel the same way).

At home, I spend my time:

Cooking, going to baseball/basketball games/practices, taking Oreo for walks.

I’m discovering all sorts of great things at WellPet but the best part, hands down, is the friendly and team-focused environment.

Any pets in your life?

I have a Boston Terrier named Beacon. He’s a ball of energy and has such personality! Beacon loves to play fetch, run, jump (3-4 feet high!) and has absolutely no regard for his body. I think he was meant to be a football player. Beacon is curious and smart and loves to build nests out of blankets, clothing, pillows, and anything he can get his paws on!

At home, I spend my time:

As a new mom, I spend every free minute I have playing with and caring for my five month old daughter. I love watching her discover new things, like her feet! When I’m not catching a flying pacifier, I’m spending time with my husband skiing, golfing, gardening, painting, etc. and trying to play the never ending game of catch up with our friends and family.

Favorite WellPet Product:

Beacon and I have been big fans of all of the Old Mother Hubbard treats since he was a puppy. I recently had him try the Wellness Super5Mix Lamb & Fish and he loves it!

What's great about working at WellPet?

The People. Having worked with a great deal of folks all across the country in the last 25 years, I can honestly say that it is a real pleasure to work with some of the most engaged, dedicated people in my career.

Any pets in your life?

Abby is an 8 year old Silky Terrier; she's absolutely spoiled rotten and rules the roost at home.  She is a bit put out in that she is increasingly required to share our time with a growing clan of grandchildren.

At home, I spend my time:

With projects such as tending the orchard (the raspberries, blackberries and vegetable garden)! I absolutely cherish the time with my three kids and five grandkids and enjoy this season of life with my best friend, my wife.

Favorite WellPet product is:

Holistic Select Anchovy, Sardine & Salmon Meal Recipe Dry Dog Food! Abby had a serious persistent itching until we switched her to this product. Within a couple of weeks, her itching and scratching stopped. Fabulous!

What's great about working at WellPet:

Being part of a organization that is truly committed to the natural and holistic approach to pet food. My position in Quality Assurance enables me to be on the frontline to ensure that we provide our pets with only the best.

Any pets in your life?

My wife and I have a cat named Zoe, She is the Queen Simba of the household. We both love coming home from the day at work and seeing her excitement; it makes the evening better.

At home, I spend my time:

Cooking, reading and quality time with my lovely wife.

Any pets in your life?

Yes, I have two boys in my family. My oldest is a 9 year old Chocolate Lab, Rottweiler mix named Caesar. Caesar is an absolute love bug who enjoys going for a walk, chasing his brother around the yard and eating Wellness products. His brother, Thor, is a 2 year old German Rottweiler. Thor loves to eat rawhide, pick on his older brother, playing in the yard and going for longs walks on the beach at Nana’s house. My wife and I are working on Thor’s obedience skills, which are coming along nicely.

At home, I spend my time:

Taking my boys for walks, playing with them in the yard, gardening, working on our house,  training Thor and Caesar, upgrading my network infrastructure, relaxing with my wife, eating fine food and visiting with friends and family.

Favorite WellPet product:

My boy’s favorite WellPet product is Wellness WellBars. Thor and Caesar can hear the WellBar jar open from a mile away. If you touch the jar it sounds like a herd of cattle racing for the kitchen, Thor gets so excited he forgets to chew!

What's great about working at WellPet:

I enjoy working at WellPet because I have made some great friends here and there is balance in the work environment. I don’t feel stressed, instead I feel motivated to get my work done, which is nice because I look forward to coming in to work at WellPet each morning. 

At home, I spend my time:

Cooking, arts and crafts and spending time with my family.

Wellness Simple Food Solutions for dogs. It's such a great product that has helped so many dogs with their food alllergies.

What’s great about working at WellPet?

To sum it up the things that are great are the product, people and work environment. I believe in the products we make! I am very confident suggesting our products because I feed them as well and enjoy seeing others provide a healthy diet to their pets. The people I work with is the next important factor for me. Our sales team is great! We all help each other to be more effective in our roles.

Any pets in your life?

I do. He is not just a pet, he is my best friend and family member. His name is Cassius Clay and if you haven’t guessed he is a Boxer. He is 8 years old but he acts like a 2 year old which I love! I adopted him at 6 months. He was moved around from a couple families and didn’t have the best life initially. He had issues when I adopted him. One of which was a digestive issue, luckily Wellness Simple Food Solutions helped him with that, now he can eat anything! (only the best for Cashy though!). He loves our food.

At home I spend my time:

I don’t spend a lot of time at home. I enjoying the outdoors going for hikes with Cassius, visiting with friends going up north, and skiing in the winter.

I really love all our products! If you ask Cashy, he loves the Holistic Select Anchovy, Sardine and Salmon Meal dry dog food, Wellness CORE, WellBites, Pure Rewards, Old Mother Hubbard biscuits, and Wellness Stews.

What's great about working at WellPet:

Working for WellPet over the past 3 years has brought a lot of fun and happiness to my life. Not only am I representing pet foods that I believe in, I have enjoyed the people that I work with as well. It feels really good to help and provide advice to pet parents that may have issues or concerns about their furry friend, so I feel most successful when I can help make a difference in that pet's life.

Any pets in your life?

I have two wonderful dogs in my life. Wilson is a 7 year old Shitzu/Poodle and Jackson is a 2 year old Chow/Retriever. They are very spoiled and stay very active. They love going to the dog park, swimming, running, eating out and most of all just being with us. I never imagined myself surrounded by so many wagging tails, but I wouldn’t change it for anything!

At home, I spend my time:

At home I spend my time with my family, working out, and focusing on dog rescue. I am very active in the rescue community and working for WellPet has encouraged me to pursue my passion. I am on the Board of a Non-Profit Rescue called Coconut Grove Dog Rescue located in Coconut Grove, FL, and our goal is to keep abandoned dogs out of the county shelter. We have been very successful in a short period of time, so I know our hard work is making a difference.

There are so many great products that my dogs love. I feed my dogs both Holistic Select and Wellness. They never get bored at meal time because there are great varieties of products to choose from. Mention the word "treat" in my house and I can get them to do anything! From WellBites and WellBars to Old Mother Hubbard there is something for each dog to love!

Any Pets in Your Life?

Zoey is a miniature Schnoodle and became an instant member of the family the moment I saw her. She is very sweet and has a calm temperament. She is very shy when she first meets someone new, but is quick to warm up, especially when a snack is involved! She loves being outdoors and often will pick a nice sunny spot and just stretch out in the sun. 

At home, what’s your favorite way to spend free time?

Like Zoey, I really enjoy the outdoors, so during free time I enjoy taking Zoey for walks. I also enjoy boating, reading and photography.

At mealtime Zoey loves the Wellness CORE Original Formula. She is a very enthusiastic eater and she makes sure no kibble is left behind both in or out of the bowl!  For snacks Zoey fancies variety, but some of her favorites are Wellness Crunchy Peanuts & Honey WellBars and in the Old Mother Hubbard line Chick’N’Apples, PB Hearts and the Soft & Chewy Bitz Chicken Flavor.

I am fortunate to be the pet parent of two beautiful healthy cats; Dixie 8 and Panda 7. Dixie has been with our family since she was 8 weeks old and we adopted Panda 5 years ago from the MSPCA. They are both loving happy kitties who help make our house a home.

Do you have any pets in your life?

Yes, I have a very loved 10 year old black Lab named Max. We also have recently adopted a stray kitten into our family.

At home, I spend my time:

I have a very active family and we stay very busy. We like to boat, swim, bike, garden, and I like to jog with my dog Max.

Max loves our Holistic Select Chicken & Rice formula. He has been on it for 6 years and has a wonderful shiny coat. Our new kitty has been introduced to our Eagle Pack Kitten formula and is doing very well.

Any pets in your life?

I have a 1.5 year old, 9 lb. Peek-a-Poo named “Dew” (thanks to my colleague Teresa, it’s a long story), and my two sons each have two dogs (two shih tzus, a pit bull and an Argentinean Dogo). Don’t spread it around, but I’m allergic to cats.

At home, I spend my time:

I enjoy taking it easy and spending quality time with my wife. Mostly running errands, hanging by the pool, going to the dog beach and eating at home!

We have one cat named Simon, a 15 year old rescued Siamese. We lost our dog some time ago to cancer.

At home, I spend my time:

Most of my time is spent in the yard. We have a large pond with fish and plants that require regular attention as does our landscaping. In addition I love to cook and entertain.

Holistic Select Anchovy Sardine and Salmon is my favorite recipe. I also am partial to the Wellness Simple and CORE recipes as they can have particular benefit to pets with specific medical conditions.
