Sales Analyst - E-commerce - Tewksbury, MA << Back to Careers

Position Description:

We are currently seeking a Sales Analyst to join our Ecommerce Sales Team. This position is based in Tewksbury, MA, reporting to the General Manager of our Ecommerce Business.  This individual will support financial reporting and customer analytics (including forecasting and productivity analysis) for our ecommerce business customers (Amazon.com, Chewy.com, Walmart.com):

  • Identify, and analyze business trends and develop action steps based on the analysis
  • Help to convert business information into business intelligence that will drive revenue and profit for the team
  • Analyze and validate consumption/POS data to build a better understanding of current consumer and customer trends
  • Analyze customer-provided data to ensure drive assortment, merchandising, and pricing decisions
  • Act as the financial gatekeeper of tracking and approvals for customer team spending
  • Conduct post promotional analysis on a regular basis and share learnings across the sales and marketing organization
  • Coordinate timely forecast accuracy and communication to all levels of the organization
  • Communicate crucial market, trade and competitive information on a timely basis

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree; Business or Finance preferred or 4 + years of relevant industry experience in a Finance, Sales Analyst, or Category Management role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups
  • Experience in managing P&L/Budget reporting
  • ROI evaluation and analysis of customer programs
  • Experience working with customer-provided systems and tools
  • Ability to translate financial and syndicated data into best in class customer plans
  • Ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to drive result
  • Strong Organizational skills, managing multiple projects, shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Strong Analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Creative thinking ability
  • Action and results-oriented
  • Good written presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Power Point and Word, and capable of learning new systems
  • Experience working with digital retailers is preferred
  • Syndicated Data experience preferred: IRI, Nielsen, as well as customer provided point of sale (POS) data
