Position Summary: Our Accounting team at WellPet is made up of professionals who understand the difference our products make in the lives of pets. We are currently seeking an AR Manager to join our team. This position is based in our Tewksbury office. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the AR Manager is a hands-on, highly visible role, responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the credit/accounts receivable/collections department, ensuring proper record keeping, developing best practices and procedures, and contributing toward an accurate and timely month-end close. This position has two direct reports and will have contact with senior level executives and other departments.
Position Description
Full Cycle A/R responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Manage the entire cycle of order-to-cash, including the customer credit process, preparation and distribution of customer invoices, follow-up/analysis on overdue accounts, and related account reconciliations.
Supervise and mentor the Accounts Receivable team, which consists of a Billing Specialist and Cash Applications Specialist.
Collaborate with sales management on any delinquent customer receivables.
Manage relationship with AR insurance provider.  
Design and implement formal customer credit limit establishment process.
Set up all new customers in the ERP system and participate in new customer on-boarding.
Maintain customer price agreements and discounts within the ERP system.
Perform month end close procedures.
Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
Prepare documentation and support for annual external audit.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
5+ years of relevant work experience, experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
Minimum of 3+ plus years of related management experience
Ability to thrive in a high volume environment as a team manager
