Position Summary: Our Brand Team at WellPet is made up of passionate marketers who understand the difference our products make in the lives of pets. We are currently seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join our team Reporting to our Senior Brand Manager-Treats, this role will focus on our treat’s portfolio. This individual will analyze, discover, and leverage consumer and trade insights to help develop effective marketing programs and activations to help drive business results. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an analytical environment and space with a natural curiosity for uncovering fact-based consumer insights. Position Description (Responsibilities):
Develop and maintain a working level knowledge of our products, the pet food industry and the natural pet food market dynamics, including the ability to conduct competitive SWOT, brand performance and pricing analyses. Responsible for analysis of syndicated data, including but not limited to:
o Competitive & category trends, SWOT analysis, and forecasting
o Sales results and category trends
Utilize qualitative and quantitative research in order to identify business insights that inform strategies to drive business results
Utilize strong creative abilities and design eye to not only maintain brand look and feel, but to help create presentations, briefs and brand assets that are visually exciting and bring our messages to life
Participate in the development of annual brand plans including marketing campaigns, new product launches, consumer & trade promotions, merchandising and distribution opportunities.  
Participate in Sales & Operations Planning – ensuring accurate forecasting of new and existing products.
Conduct post-launch reviews and analysis to measure effectiveness of planned promotions.
Partner with sales management to gain their input and field experience to identify the best programs and practices for successful sell-in & sell-through of your brands. 
Lead the creation of marketing materials such as price sheets, brand style guides & global brand toolkits, social & digital media assets, in-store POP/merchandising materials and sales tools. 
Collaborate cross functionally to drive effective brand activation and execution of brand promotional activities
Maintain a close working relationship with outside agencies such as:  printers, public relations agency, promotion & design firms.
Help manage Marketing budgets
Manage coupon budget, creation, and analysis in cooperation with internal and external partners
Live the WellPet values and culture and doing whatever it takes for the pets who depend on us
Position Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Brand Management, preferably in a Consumer Packaged Goods environment
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management, MBA preferred 
P&L mindset, with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills in order to align strategies within the marketing mix to drive profitable results
Passion and curiosity to continuously seek out opportunities to strengthen the business
Bias for action in order to quickly execute on business needs while also being comfortable challenging the status quo
Excellent project management abilities, capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters 
Well-developed written and oral presentation skills
Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally
Demonstrates positive attitude and takes a proactive approach; sees challenges as opportunities and translates them into actionable tasks
Displays grace and presence at all times
Energized by fast-paced environment
Computer proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to travel 10%
Collaborative, team player with a “can do” attitude.
