Meta-C is a unique form of vitamin C that is absorbed slower than regular vitamin C and maintains higher serum levels for longer periods of time with no intestinal discomfort. Food Matrix Formed Meta-C is fully reacted with phytoplankton to have all the properties found in concentrated whole foods including proteins, lipids, glycoproteins, lipoproteins, nucleoproteins (RNA/DNA), complex carbohydrates, phytopigments, flavonoids, fatty acids enzymes, coenzymes, trace elements and fiber. This unique process conjugates vitamin C with natural biologically active metabolites in a buffered form as an ascorbate of calcium.

Recommended Dosages.
Weaned puppies for first 6 months.		Six months to 1 year
small breeds - 250 mg.			gradually increase to adult levels
medium breeds - 500 mg.			small breeds - 250mg. to 500mg.
					medium breeds - 500mg. to 1500mg.

Larger breeds for first 4 months.		Four to 18 months
Increase from 500mg. to 1000 mg.		gradually increase to adult levels
For Giant breeds - 750 mg. to 2000 mg.	large breeds - 2000mg. to 3000mg.
					giant breeds - 2000mg. to 6000mg.

	Adults
small breeds	 500 - 1500 mg.
medium breeds	1500 - 3000 mg.
large breeds	3000 - 6000 mg.
giant breeds	6000 - 8000 mg.

Pregnant and lactating females and dogs under high stress - use the high end of the above recommended dosages, i.e. for a small lactating female give 1500 mg., a medium dog give 3000 mg., etc.. For therapeutic purposes use the high end of the dosages or go to bowel tolerance with the dosage meaning increase their dose until they get diarrhea then cut back a little until it stops. Sick dogs can take a lot of vitamin C before they get diarrhea.
