Position Summary: Our WellPet Team is made up of passionate professionals who understand the difference our products make in the lives of pets.  Are you interested in building marketing programs within key accounts to grow our overall WellPet brand presence by leveraging the world’s most powerful E-commerce platforms, and partnering with key customers like Amazon, Chewy, and Walmart.com to do so?

This position is based out of our Tewksbury headquarters location, and will report to the General Manager, E-commerce.  You will be responsible for strategically partnering with our brand team, sales team, and our key E-commerce accounts to identify and maximize digital customer marketing opportunities to grow our brands and business. 

 

Our ideal candidate will have digital marketing experience, experience working with our external customer partners as well as leading and working with digital marketing agencies.

 

 

Position Description:

  • Based on brand & customer objectives – build account specific digital strategies and detailed marketing programs to deliver revenue, profit and market share goals.
  • Develop and maintain budgets on a monthly basis; enrolling key internal, customer, and agency resources to ensure plans are set, executed, tracked/measured, and refined ongoing.
  • Own all aspects of Amazon Advertising included but not limited to; annual budget, digital strategies to support, detailed development of marketing plans across AMS/Search/Sponsored Ads as well as AMG/Display, partner with and lead any agency work and Amazon Advertising to ensure plans deliver against strategic objectives, are executed with excellence, measured via external and internal key metrics, and refined based on key learnings.  Importantly, all of these activities need to tie to achieving our overall annual revenue and budget goals.
  • Own all aspects of Walmart Media Group included but not limited to; annual budget, digital strategies to support, detailed development, execution, and measuring of marketing plans and investment.  Working with key internal brand partners to reallocate customer acquisition investments to Walmart.com media group as key platform for national brand marketing.
  • Work in partnership with CBM’s for Amazon, Chewy, and Walmart.com to ensure overall marketing plans and all digital components compliment promotional plans and overall annual objectives.
  • Partnering with our brand leaders to ensure all digital assets and content are created to support all applications or potential uses of the digital content with our on-line partners.  This would also include assessing current state, providing roadmap for improvements, and monitoring the ongoing implementation of these assets on line.
  • Analyze results post-programs providing a thorough analysis of program performance vs. goals, and ensuring key learnings are implemented in go-forward planning.
  • Collaborate with internal brand partners to further understand, plan, and budget for national customer acquisition investments and activities by leveraging our global ecomm presence with these customers to deliver our brand equity and messaging.

  • A candidate who can jump in and move to action while also incorporating a project management approach and creating enhanced or new processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness over time.
  • A strong analytical and financial mindset and the ability to take multiple sources of data, analyze it to determine key insights, observations, and implications.

 

 

Core Requirements:          

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline.
  • 5+ years CPG Customer marketing experience; sales/marketing experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build persuasive presentations.
  • A self-starter attitude, capable of handling multiple priorities, have a sense of urgency, and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, be a team player, enjoy being hands-on, and demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Based at HQ and willingness to travel to customer appointments as needed.
