It's no secret, America loves their pets—so much so, that 57 percent of pet parents said it was a deal breaker if their significant other or potential significant other didn't like pets. The just-released Old Mother Hubbard 'Bits of Love' survey of 600 pet owners nationwide, found that 42 percent of Americans will be buying their dogs a special treat this Valentine's Day and another 11 percent will be preparing a special meal for their loveable furry friend. o 6% will be investing in some chic new clothing 
o 4% will be taking their pets to the groomer

• Looking for love online? 1 in 10 American pet parents have used a photo of their pet in an online dating profile
